• This virtual experience is for you to engage with the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross.

As you meditate on the stations and the suffering that Jesus endured, may you know that he suffered because of his great love for you.

By his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5-6) and can live with peace and hope of abundant and everlasting life (John 10:10, John 3:16).

  • The stations are for anyone regardless of tradition or denomination to guide your reflection on Jesus during Holy Week.

The art was created by neighbors in the Jackson Neighborhood.

The reflection and prayers are from the Stations of the Cross that was celebrated by Pope John Paul II on Good Friday in 1991.

  • There are 14 Stations of the Cross art pieces set up on Huntington Blvd for Good Friday. The text that accompanies each station is in the gallery below. It works best to rotate your phone sideways and enlarge the image.

You can also meditate through the stations remotely in a quiet place, or with your family members, or on a walk.

As you begin, invite the Holy Spirit to guide you in prayer, worship, and response to what Jesus has done for us on the cross.
